1. 2023 – today

   Software developer · CORRECTIV

   Software for a non-profit newsroom. I now work in the Faktenforum team and lead the technical side of the new CORRECTIV app; before that I was in the beabee team.

   • Technical lead of the new CORRECTIV app and its workbench, which configures the app and publishes its documentation
   • Built Stamped, a tool to verify and explore leaked email archives locally
   • Work on Faktenforum, CORRECTIV's community fact-checking platform
   • beabee: hardened the security of the membership platform and built its Telegram integration

2. 2019 · Düsseldorf

   On-site contractor · Peek & Cloppenburg

   Seven months living in Düsseldorf and working in-house at Fashion Digital, the online shop of the Peek & Cloppenburg group. Brought in for the frontend, soon on the backend too.

   • Prepared the shop's launch in the Netherlands with the checkout team, in Scrum: more countries, more payment methods
   • Rewrote most of a microservice for delivery times and shipping costs
   • Introduced TypeScript and a current Node.js across teams, fixed broken tests and wrote lasting ones
   • Got a rewrite of the in-house shop system started with internal talks

3. 2012 – today

   Freelance developer · JumpLink / Art+Code Studio

   Client projects from concept to operation; today mostly GNOME apps and tooling.

   • GNOME apps in TypeScript on gjsify: Learn 6502 Assembly, Beifahrer, Steuererklärung
   • E-commerce since 2015: Shopify themes and apps, headless shops
